How to Measure for a Rectangle Trampoline Mat
- Measure the frame. You will measure the length and width of the frame from outside frame to outside frame. To get the most accurate measurement it is best to measure along the edge of the frame, as shown in the diagram to the right.
- Measure the springs. You will take a spring OFF the trampoline, make sure that it is fully recoiled and measure it from hook-end to hook-end. It is very important that you not use a stretched-out spring and that the spring NOT be attached to the trampoline to get an accurate measurement.
- Count the springs. You will count the springs down the long side and the short side to get your total spring count (we will need to know how many down the long and short sides). We suggest that you also count your springs to make sure that you are not missing any.
- Measure the mat. If possible, it is best to measure the mat while still attached to the frame. You will measure the mat from hem to hem down the length and width, DO NOT INCLUDE THE V-RINGS. Note the EXACT inches of the measurement.
- Hole to Hole Measurement. If you do not have your mat, you will need to measure where the spring sits on the frame to the opposite side where the spring sits on the frame. Use the diagrams to the right for a visual. Place your tape measure on the frame where the spring attaches to the frame and measure straight across to the opposite side where the spring sits on the frame.
